Samantha also serves as Director of Operations for Canada MedLaser, the largest medical laser clinic franchise in North America, overseeing 15 clinics across Canada. Her expertise in business scaling, operational optimization, and strategic growth ensures franchisees thrive and exceed expectations. Samantha’s results-driven leadership positions Canada MedLaser for exponential growth while maintaining its industry-leading status in aesthetics and wellness.
Entrepreneurial Journey & Leadership
At 25, while raising a young family, Samantha launched her first ventures in personal services and aesthetics, quickly establishing herself as a leader in sales strategy, team development, and business growth. Between 2006–2008, she served as an instructor at the Canadian Aesthetic Academy, mentoring future practitioners and sharing her expertise.
Samantha’s first major leadership role was with Bellair Laser Clinic, where she scaled the business from a boutique 4-room clinic in Yorkville Village into a 14-room flagship Yorkville location with over 70 employees, quadrupling revenues and expanding into midtown Toronto and the U.S. market in New York City.
In 2015, she pivoted to outside sales in medical instruments, medical-grade skincare, and IV therapies, introducing IV therapy to the GTA market and helping the sector grow exponentially through her bootstrapped, results-focused approach. This industry is still thriving today, over a decade later!
Later, Samantha was recruited to serve as Director of Operations at one of Toronto’s first women’s health and wellness clinics, specifically supporting women through menopause and aging. Over six years, she transformed the clinic into a multimillion-dollar business, doubling revenue, growing the team from five to thirteen employees, and navigating even the challenges of COVID-19 lockdowns with 20% growth, demonstrating her ability to pivot, scale and sustain high-performance organizations.

Personal Journey
Samantha’s entrepreneurial drive is rooted in her upbringing. Growing up in challenging circumstances, she was expected to be just another statistic. Instead, she found hope and resilience while spending much of her childhood on her grandparents’ modest homestead farm. It was there she learned the value of real food, simplicity, and nature, picking strawberries, peas, and carrots straight from the soil and raising sweet little chicks into the chickens that would provide the eggs for breakfast and her grandmothers baking.
Her journey from humble beginnings to boardrooms and business ownership has been marked by resilience, perseverance, and a refusal to let her circumstances define her. Life Beyond Business
Outside of her role as the Director of Operations for Canada MedLaser and founder and CEO, Samantha is a proud mom and family-first leader. She begins some of her mornings at 6 a.m. with treadmill and strength training sessions, followed by mindfulness practices that prepare her mentally for the day ahead. She enjoys Pilates classes with her daughter, and weekends are reserved for meaningful family connections and when the opportunity presents itself, she is golfing with her son and husband.
To stay creative and grounded, Samantha embraces simple joys like colouring in “adult” colouring books, practicing mindfulness in the shower, and spending time away from electronics. She’s also a self-proclaimed wine lover and candy enthusiast, especially Napa Valley reds, red liquorice, sour keys, and cinnamon lips, but she’ll happily pass on chocolate ;)
